ORDERING & DELIVERY SERVICE The traditional norm was for once a week stock orders and two day deliveries. with Brakeworld, the factor can order daily and receive a guaranteed next day before noon delivery throughout most of the uk. In addition for that special job that won’t wait optional delivery extras can be arranged including: saturday deliveries, specific timed deliveries and early bird collections from local DPD & SPDS depots after 7.30a.m. the options are there to give the service level the independent factor requires. The Brakeworld/ DPD & SPDS partnership for deliveries has been proven to work currently delivering 99.5%. DBD & SPDS have the IT systems to service our requirements, ensuring correct routing and delivery. EXPORT MARKETS Brakeworld have extensive export experience and have a growing overseas customer base marketing our products worldwide. The Directors David Ineson and Nigel Harvey are very much hands –on, with over 26 years service in the company the two directors complement each other. David Ineson Nigel Harvey David’s strengths being from his background as export sales manager with Mintex –Don in the 80’s. Nigel’s engineering and scientific logical approach from his senior position with National Power. Peter Fletcher heads up the sales team and has brought 30 plus years of experience from the U.K. aftermarket. he has sold most aftermarket parts – from batteries to brakes!! Chris Badrick is responsible for IT and purchasing, He was programming computers when they were filling rooms rather than desks! Heavily involved in cataloguing, building on the work of our co-founder Frank Tobin, and always striving for perfection. Gareth Payne is our operations manager, a role he is perfectly positioned for, having worked his way up from the warehouse, experiencing all aspects of our company. The whole Brakeworld team deserve a mention – the sales team, the order processing team, the pickers, packers and secretarial staff. The construction of our new warehouse and offices has now been integrated with the existing premises. this has doubled our capacity ensuring even greater stock availability.
